What our organization offers:
Ages for which our activities are most appropriate:
Miss Porter’s School is a college preparatory boarding and day school for girls in grades nine through 12.The school educates young women to become informed, bold, resourceful and ethical global citizens who will shape a changing world.

Porter's is for smart, strong, and creative girls who want to become young women who are prepared to lead with conviction and courage. When you graduate from Porter's, you will join a worldwide network of accomplished women who are fulfilling the school’s mission statement, “We expect our graduates to shape a changing world.” You will be part of a fabric of relationships that will benefit you personally and professionally throughout your life.

Our students are valued for the unique qualities they bring to our community, and their diverse interests, activities, and backgrounds add immeasurable richness to our engaged community.

The rigor of our program will challenge you to stretch and grow. The traditions, some going back to Sarah Porter herself, will include you in the Porter's community of the past, the present, and the future.

If you are ready to be inspired by supportive classmates and dedicated faculty who encourage you on a daily basis to be your best self, please take a few minutes to fill out our online inquiry form. We are happy to mail you our admission materials, and we invite you to contact us to set up an appointment for your campus tour and interview. It is our privilege to share with visitors how Porter’s has been a leader in girls’ education since 1843.
