SPARK is a summer residential program for current 6th through 9th grade female students interested in STEM. Participants are taught and mentored by outstanding female University of Connecticut undergraduate engineering students. There are four sessions that focus on different engineering disciplines: coding, robotics, 3D printing, and general engineering. Students are encouraged to have fun while learning, and to learn while having fun! Each week will also include fun activities such as bonfire nights, drone flying, and visits to the Dairy Bar.

There will be four sessions in 2018: July 8 - 14: Coding in Space July 15 - 21: Underwater Robotics July 22 - 28: 3-D Printing a Better Earth July 29 - August 4: Engineering Through the Ages Students may apply to attend one, two, three, or all four of the sessions.
