Winter Solstice - Bonfire Ceremony & Celebration

Winter Solstice marks an auspicious shift, when we emerge from darkness and move back towards the light. On the shortest, darkest day of the year, we are urged to call upon, manifest and celebrate the coming of the light. Join us for an evening of ceremony and celebration. We’ll begin around the bonfire, create offerings for our ancestors and the elements of fire, water, earth, moon, and stars. We’ll set intentions for the New Year and make offerings with reverence to the alchemy of fire. After the Ceremony we’ll continue inside, in the new Offutt Center, to celebrate each other, our community and blessings. Beverages, soup, light food, and cake will be served. Part of the proceeds will be given by Greg to The Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport to assist our fellow community members. All ages welcome.
