At Earthplace Summer Camp, we welcome campers of all abilities from age 2-15. All enjoy an unspoiled natural setting–on the trails, by the pond, in the fields or under the shade of our pine grove. Camps run in weekly sessions from mid-June through mid-August.

Our camp programs aim to get children and youth unplugged from indoor activities through exciting, hands-on explorations in the outdoors. Our action-packed Summer Camp emphasizes fun experiences that give children an opportunity to simply “be a kid” while exploring the marvels of nature and making friends. Weekly themes inspire young adventurers at age-appropriate levels as they learn and play amidst our 40 acres of ponds, fields, and forest. Budding scientists uncover the mysteries of the natural world while adventure-seekers learn wilderness skills and experience the exhilaration of the great outdoors! Experienced and highly trained counselors create daily fun with games, camp songs, art projects and amazing nature discoveries.

Maritime Rowing Club’s Summer Youth Learn to Row Programs draw elementary, middle school, and high school-aged youth from all over Fairfield County and the surrounding area. Our coaching staff offers an opportunity for all levels to develop their full rowing potential with solid rowing skills and team fundamentals.

 Rye Nature Center |
June Bugs (Pre-K to K) is the Rye Nature Center’s popular program for preschoolers and kindergarteners in the early days of summer. Children ages 3.5 through 6 years old will connect with nature through outdoor activities, arts and crafts, games, and hands-on ecology lessons. They will spend their entire program outside exploring the Rye Nature Center forest.

Spring Creative Writing Workshops for kids, teens, and adults start April 21 at The Writers Circle! Fiction, memoir, poetry, novel-writing, mystery, romance, kid-lit, and more in Summit, South Orange, Morristown, Verona, and online!

 Camp Fowler |
We offer overnight camp sessions for campers coming out of 3rd-12th grade. Campers who choose a Residential Camp week will stay in cabins on our 245 acre campus on the shores of Sacandaga Lake.
