Woodcock Nature Center

The Woodcock Nature Center is located in Wilton, CT. Located on 149 acres of state-protected land, the Woodcock Nature Preserve includes a pond, wetlands and 3 miles of publicly accessible woodland trails. The Center is home to a variety of living local and exotic creatures including snakes, frogs and lizards. We also house a handful of injured birds of prey.

Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens

As of March 20, 2020 we are STILL OPEN! However, our buildings which include restrooms are closed. Please practice safe social distancing in our trails and gardens, while remaining 6 feet apart. Please do not touch anyone's dogs, if you see one. Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens is located in Stamford, CT. The Arboretum is a living museum adorned with majestic trees, charming gardens, wildlife, walking trails, natural habitats and landscapes. They serve as a recreational and educational resource for visitors. The Arboretum hosts a wide range of innovative classes, certificate programs in Master Gardening and Arboriculture, gardening symposiums, summer concerts, garden tours and its highly acclaimed summer nature camp and STEAM-based children's school-day and after-school programs.

Silvermine Arts Center

The Silvermine School of Art offers courses and workshops for young children as well as high school students and adults year-round. Students will have a fun and educational experience Silvermine’s 5-acre campus with its barns, classrooms, sculpture walk, and picturesque waterfall.  Younger ones will gain new competence; older students can deepen knowledge of technique and composition or strengthen a portfolio for college. Classes range from painting, drawing, photography, woodworking, ceramics, metal sculpture, printmaking, jewelry, mixed media, and special studies.
