Want to get your kids brains moving in a creative direction? Want to get your young artist mentored in classes or private lessons? Want to introduce your child to art? We are a fully equipped art studio, focusing on individual growth and imagination, all in a classical manner, and all fun!

The Art Spot offers fine arts classes for both children and adults in a wide range of mediums by a faculty of working artists.

We offer a supportive, creative, non-threatening atmosphere for the exploration of Fine Arts by both Children and Adults. We take great pride in seeing the development of a real spark and interest as well as the honing of art skills in our students.

Our philosophy is to teach the basic rules - to demystify art - and to then motivate the artist to break those rules and thereby create their own unique style. We encourage the artist to develop their own creativity and imagination. In addition to bringing a broad scope of visual reference into the instruction we support ongoing dialogue with regard to techniques, artists, art history, museum exhibits.

Gallery Art Shows are held three times a year to afford all students the opportunity to participate in an art exhibit. Students invite their family and friends to celebrate their Gallery Show.

Workshops for teachers are offered so teachers can broaden their own art experience and learn how to bring more art into their class rooms.

Private Lessons available on request.

Artist in Residence Programs - please inquire about our award winning programs for your Public/Private school or your Home School group!

We also offer Portfolio Review and Development for high school students for acceptance to art schools!

Don't forget to ask about our FAMOUS BIrthday Art Parties!

Whether a two year old working with a parent or a High School student preparing a portfolio for art school admission, experiences here are individual even in a group setting, and by and for the artist themselves.
