Two Coyotes Wilderness School

Founded in 2000, Two Coyotes is a non-profit nature mentoring organization in Connecticut that connects people to nature, community, and self. We offer programming year-round at locations in Newtown, Granby, and Killingworth, including summer camp, weekly school day programs for homeschool and public school students, weekend programs, and caregiver-child programs. Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens

The Bartlett's trails and gardens are open and Summer Camp will kick off on June, 29 2020. However, our buildings are closed to the general public. Please practice safe social distancing in our trails and gardens, while remaining 6 feet apart. Please do not touch anyone's dogs, if you see one. Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens is located in Stamford, CT. The Arboretum is a living museum adorned with majestic trees, charming gardens, wildlife, walking trails, natural habitats and landscapes. They serve as a recreational and educational resource for visitors. The Arboretum hosts a wide range of innovative classes, certificate programs in Master Gardening and Arboriculture, gardening symposiums, summer concerts, garden tours and its highly acclaimed summer nature camp and STEAM-based children's school-day and after-school programs.

The Institute for American Indian Studies

The Institute for American Indian Studies, in Washington, Connecticut, preserves and educates through discovery and creativity the diverse traditions, vitality, and knowledge of Native American cultures. Inside the museum, exhibits allow visitors to travel through time as they encounter exhibits and information on pre-historic to contemporary Native Americans. Nestled on 15 acres of woodlands and trails, complete with a replicated Algonkian village, visitors can also explore the seasonal world of the Eastern Woodlands. Open year round, the IAIS offers a range of events and education programs, as well as a full-day summer camp.

Room 17, LLC.

Room 17, LLC was created by two local educators who LOVE math and wanted to share their passion with children, parents, and teachers! Room 17’s mission is to build confidence in students, teachers, and parents in mathematics through engaging problem solving activities, collaboration with peers, and fun fluency games. Room 17 offers a variety of learning opportunities for our math community ~ Summer Math Camp ~ Family Math Nights (hosted at a school/community location) ~ Parent or Teacher Workshops (based on school/parent/home-school needs) and more recently our Summer Math Camp has gone VIRTUAL to support students in many locations due to social distancing restrictions.
