"Judy brings a rare mix of skills and experience to her work with our 6-year-old.  But she also brings something more important:  a curiosity and patience that lets her notice the cues our son gives her about what his needs and interests are.   Judy senses what approach and pace will serve him best—both in the long run and for that particular day—then she draws on the many resources that come from her varied careers and interests.  She tailors each session’s activities to help our son grow on many levels.  Judy has been working for 2 years with our son, who had been diagnosed with global developmental delays, and he has made great strides.  She helps him build core strength, balance, coordination, and fine motor skills; she helps him develop language for his ideas and feelings; she helps him practice writing and math.  She helps him find the space of inner calm in which he can integrate all he is learning."
