Rockwell Dance Center

It is the mission of ROCKWELL DANCE CENTER to provide each student with a creative and inspiring dance education. We feel it is imperative that every dancer be given a strong, technical foundation by utilizing proper terminology, training and anatomical understanding. RDC encourages artistry in a supportive and nurturing environment; we believe in recognizing and appreciating the individual strengths of each dancer. Our goal is to offer varied performance opportunities while giving back and sharing with our community. Instruction In: Ballet, Pointe, Partnering, Contemporary Ballet, Modern, Contemporary Jazz, Modern Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Pre Ballet & Tap, Ballet & Tap, Kidz Bop, Boys Hip Hop and Winter and Spring Ballets. 

Our Doors Are Open: We invite you to stop by any time for a tour of our facility, a placement evaluation or a FREE class. Registration is ongoing until classes are filled.
Our state of the art performance center, located in Trumbull, CT, has 12,150 square feet of space. It is comprised of 5 dance studios (all with sprung flooring and professional audio systems), 4 music/voice studios, a black box theater, 2 lounges, kitchen and homework area, company lounge, girls and boys changing rooms and a professional costume shop.
All in one convenient location with easy access to I-95, 25 Connector, Merritt Parkway, Route 8 – a quick and easy commute from almost anywhere in Fairfield county and New Haven county. We are just minutes from the Trumbull Mall, and located just across the street are Planet Fitness, Tennis,Gymnastics and a Sports Center.

2018 SUMMER DANCE PROGRAMS: YOUNG DANCERS PROGRAM

Weeks of July 9-13 and July 16-20  -  Monday-Friday  - 10:00 am-5:00 pm

One or Two Weeks may be taken – recommendation is for two weeks.  Cost $450/wk or $850/2wk

Classes Offered:  Ballet Technique, Pointe/Pre Pointe, Character, Modern, Conditioning, Pilates, Dance History, Anatomy, Choreo/Improv 

Guest Instructors:  Carmela Gallace (Faculty - ABT/JKO, Alvin Ailey, NYU) and Christopher Stuart (Principle Dancer and Choreographer - Nashville Ballet)

Additional Faculty to be announced by January 30th

Ages 9-13 (RDC students Ballet Levels: Lilac and Garnet)   Min 8-Max 16 Dancers

Registration and Payment Required by March 1, 2018
