Looking for something to do to take a break from fun in the sun? Come to the DAC for a week of fun in the arts! Each day, campers will work with different media, including projects with paint, collage and clay, according to age. Our DAC Instructor will guide the campers through an afternoon of creativity and imagination, and each week they will have different projects to bring home. Please dress for mess!

Norwalk’s Crystal Theatre is thrilled to announce its “Revolutionary Summer”-themed 2026 camp offerings! Hey turtle lovers, it’s time to come out of your shell! Campers will be amazed as they learn about turtles of all types and sizes, especially those that live in the ocean. Campers will have the unique opportunity to explore captivating exhibits and get up close with our animal ambassadors that call the aquarium home. Our knowledgeable staff will guide campers through a journey of discovery, delving into the challenges sea turtles face, the differences between turtles and tortoises, and much more! Campers will also go on an adventure out to our local estuary at Bluff Point State Park, where they will investigate the marsh, search through tide pools, wade along the shoreline, and play some turtle games. It’s a shell-ebration of turtles they won’t forget!

Our skilled coaches will guide beginners and experienced climbers through roped & bouldering indoor climbing, games, and other fun activities. Have fun, improve your skills, and make new friends! Ages 7+ if they have been part of one of our youth programs prior to camp.

Running June 15 through August 12, Kids Kamp is open to children ages 4 to 12 and offers flexible weekly sessions, making it easy to fit into busy summer schedules. Campers will stay active and smiling all summer long with mini golf, bowling, the driving range, arts and crafts, and so much more.

Mystic Seaport Museum offers a number of summer camps and programs that provide a unique learning adventure! Our wide selection of Summer Day Camps offers campers ages 4 to 16 a kid’s-eye-view of maritime history as they explore the Museum. Community Sailing day camps let kids ages 6 to 15 build and refine their sailing skills with our sailing instructors out on the Mystic River. Our residential, Joseph Conrad Overnight Camp invites campers 8 to 15 to spend a week with us, learning to sail by day, doing fun maritime themed activities in the evenings, and sleeping aboard a historic ship by night. And teens 15 and up can sail along the coast as part of the crew of the schooner Brilliant. Select the camp that best suits your children and give them a summer to remember at Mystic Seaport Museum! Back by popular demand! Our Seaport Sea Stars program introduces young sailors ages 6 and 7 to the concepts of wind, balance, and basic sailboat controls in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Instruction takes place in shallow water and light wind to help campers build confidence and discover that sailing is exciting—not intimidating. Campers should feel comfortable wearing a lifejacket (required whenever they are near or on the water) and have some basic comfort swimming or floating. This class is taught in Prams—small, single-sail boats similar to Optis—by an experienced U.S. Sailing–certified instructor and a Red Cross–certified lifeguard. Lessons are tailored to each camper’s maturity level, with assistance from Counselors in Training, who may sail with campers as needed. Our goal is for our littlest sailors to leave with new friends, new skills, and the joy of knowing sailing is fun.
