At the Nature Center at Greenburgh, summer isn’t just about sunshine and play—it’s about inspiring young minds through hands-on learning, exploration, and discovery. Our Summer Camp offers dynamic and enriching experiences designed especially for rising 1st through 5th graders who are eager to learn, explore, and grow.

The Katonah Art Center offers one-week summer camps for children ages 3.5 through Grade 12, with flexible morning, afternoon, and full-day options to suit busy families. The Art and Imagination camp for younger children (ages 3.5–5) blends arts and crafts, free art play, and age-appropriate exploration, with a different creative theme inspiring each week. For kids in grades 1–5, camp options include Jewelry, Painting, Pottery, Animation, 3D Printing, and more, encouraging experimentation across a variety of mediums. Teen Intensives for grades 6 and up focus on specialized topics such as Pottery, Outdoor Painting, Fused Glass, Mural Painting, and 3D Printing. Our professional teaching artists create a warm, supportive, and inspiring environment for creative expression.

Our Residential LARP Camp is a 4-day, large-scale live-action roleplaying adventure where we transform real outdoor spaces into the living fantasy world of Etheraz. Campers step fully into character as young adventurers shaping the future of the realm. They’ll train their skills, uncover secrets, forge alliances, and take part in epic story-driven events—alongside classic summer camp activities like games, crafts, archery, and campfires.

Set against Paradox Lake sunsets and nights full of s'mores, in our 2 or 3 week sessions, your campers form lifelong bonds, build confidence, and come home with too many memories to stuff into their duffel bags. Located in the heart of the Adirondack mountains, we take every opportunity to offer programs beyond our gate. From summiting Mount Marcy to playing in inter-camp soccer games, and all the frog catching, soft serve ice cream and alpacas in between: Camp Southwoods is the place for campers ages 7-16 to be known and celebrated for their authentic selves.

FOR CAMPERS ENTERING GRADES 8, 9, 10, OR 11 IN THE FALL. This all-levels camp is designed to introduce campers to the joys of kayaking and hiking throughout the beautiful Hudson Valley. All days meet and end at the Rye Nature Center. Kayak gear is provided. Each week, we will hike 2 days and kayak 3 days. Register by week. No experience necessary!

A half-day summer camp from Jragon Academy will lead the students through a journey from a basic introduction to building their robots that can tackle challenges.

ECO HEROES Come join Eco Heroes camp, a full-day, weeklong experience of adventure and discovery that focuses on exploring the ecosystems around us, from the marsh, streams and ponds to the fields, woods and especially the estuary. Our exploration-minded staff will guide your camper on this ecological experience by utilizing our exhibits, engaging them in hands-on activities, games, crafts, and meetings with our animal care team. Your camper will have a “fintastic” experience this week. Campers will also get to enjoy a trip to Bluff Point State Park to focus on an estuary and how they can help it, this will highlight the important connection between the ocean and us.

Hey turtle lovers, it’s time to come out of your shell! Campers will be amazed as they learn about turtles of all types and sizes, especially those that live in the ocean. Campers will have the unique opportunity to explore captivating exhibits and get up close with our animal ambassadors that call the aquarium home. Our knowledgeable staff will guide campers through a journey of discovery, delving into the challenges sea turtles face, the differences between turtles and tortoises, and much more! Campers will also go on an adventure out to our local estuary at Bluff Point State Park, where they will investigate the marsh, search through tide pools, wade along the shoreline, and play some turtle games. It’s a shell-ebration of turtles they won’t forget!

Father/Son Weekend is the time where boys (and dads!) can be boys! Partnering with families to help boys develop into strong, healthy men is one mission of Falling Creek. A critical part of this journey is the relationship a son has with his father. A Father/Son Weekend is the perfect time for dads and sons in kindergarten through high school to spend quality time together.
