Our Summer Camp offers something for every age, preschool-11th grade! Onsite camp for elementary and middle school students is from 9am-3pm Monday-Friday for 8 weeks this summer! A perfect class for little ones between 1.5 - 3 years old with their caregiver. Bond with your children while they develop skills in our parent and child classes and meet families in your community! This is an interactive program with music, movement, and creative activities designed for young children accompanied by a favorite adult.

A dance class for students in grade 3 where dancers will be prepared for the requirements of Ballet 2B. In the second or third year of the matriculated ballet program at the academy, students continue to develop strength, coordination, flexibility and musicality as they learn the ballet vocabulary and more advanced dance sequences. Instructors are professionals in the field and emphasize the joy of dance in a nurturing and positive environment.

A beginner-level class, we invite our young dancers to discover the joy and magic of movement set to music. Students will be introduced to the beginnings of ballet and will develop their coordination, self-confidence, flexibility, focus, musicality, and love of dance in a nurturing and positive environment. Classes will run on Mondays from 7/13 to 8/10.

Come join the coolest camp around at the SportsCenter of Connecticut, Kids Kamp! Running June 15 through August 12, Kids Kamp is open to children ages 4 to 12 and offers flexible weekly sessions, making it easy to fit into busy summer schedules. Campers will stay active and smiling all summer long with mini golf, bowling, the driving range, arts and crafts, and so much more.

Perfect for 3 - 6 year olds, weekly camps have exciting themes and take place Monday - Friday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. During both weekly and one day camps, students will begin with ballet class then read a story, dress up, and dance along to songs that help them tell the story through movement! An additional Stay and Play option is also available until 12:30.

Mystic Seaport Museum offers a number of summer camps and programs that provide a unique learning adventure! Our wide selection of Summer Day Camps offers campers ages 4 to 16 a kid’s-eye-view of maritime history as they explore the Museum. Community Sailing day camps let kids ages 6 to 15 build and refine their sailing skills with our sailing instructors out on the Mystic River. Our residential, Joseph Conrad Overnight Camp invites campers 8 to 15 to spend a week with us, learning to sail by day, doing fun maritime themed activities in the evenings, and sleeping aboard a historic ship by night. And teens 15 and up can sail along the coast as part of the crew of the schooner Brilliant. Select the camp that best suits your children and give them a summer to remember at Mystic Seaport Museum! Back by popular demand! Our Seaport Sea Stars program introduces young sailors ages 6 and 7 to the concepts of wind, balance, and basic sailboat controls in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Instruction takes place in shallow water and light wind to help campers build confidence and discover that sailing is exciting—not intimidating. Campers should feel comfortable wearing a lifejacket (required whenever they are near or on the water) and have some basic comfort swimming or floating. This class is taught in Prams—small, single-sail boats similar to Optis—by an experienced U.S. Sailing–certified instructor and a Red Cross–certified lifeguard. Lessons are tailored to each camper’s maturity level, with assistance from Counselors in Training, who may sail with campers as needed. Our goal is for our littlest sailors to leave with new friends, new skills, and the joy of knowing sailing is fun.

Campers are invited to spend a week at Mystic Aquarium, where they will learn about the STARS, both famous and not so famous, who are found here. Campers will be engaged in learning about the many different animals that call Mystic Aquarium home, from our ever-playful Beluga, Juno, to the elusive Wobbegong shark. But the fun does not stop there! Campers will also learn about the dedicated staff who work here and make this Aquarium such a special place. Campers will also have an exciting day at Bluff Point State Park where they will bounce in the marsh, go for a hike and try to catch some crabs.

Camp Hazen YMCA’s traditional sessions offer a full overnight camp experience where campers build friendships, confidence, and independence. Campers live in small cabin groups and choose activities across Creative Arts, Outdoor Pursuits, Land Sports, and Water Sports, while also participating in team-building with their cabin group on the high ropes course and zipline. Days are filled with swimming, games, campfires, and the kind of memories that stay with campers long after summer ends.
